Lieutenant Samuel Barbour Combe, of C Company North Irish Horse, died of wounds sustained during the Battle of the Aisne on 30 September 1914, aged 33.

Husband of Mary Theresa Combe, Donaghcloney, County Down.

Buried by the Germans in the vicinity of Condé Castle, France. His name is inscribed on Panel 1, Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. The inscription appears under the first arch to the left in this picture.
