Portadown, enlisted Portadown. Son of Joseph and M.J. Mortimer, Portadown, County
Armagh. Having no known grave, his name is inscribed on Panel 141, Tyne Cot Memorial,
Belgium. Private Robert Irwin, 9th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers,
formerly 6th Inniskilling Dragoons (Service Squadron) and 2nd Regiment, North
Irish Horse. Killed in action 14 April 1918. Service Nos UD/153 (Inniskilling
Dragoons), 41080 (RIF). Born and enlisted Londonderry. Having no known grave,
